Ecodesign, a Driver of Innovation for Organizations [French Event]

SA²GE-2 Invitation Event February 22nd, 2019 Ecodesign

How can integrated ecodesign be applied within companies to generate value, reduce costs and respect the environment?

Ecodesign remains an abstract subject in many organizations. In accordance with its mission, SA²GE's Environmental Gains Committee wishes to contribute to the integration of ecodesign into organizations by offering an introductory workshop on the subject.

Business leaders, managers, professionals from all sectors and departments that understand French: this is a morning not to be missed! The event is free of charge and seats are limited.

The Coalition for Greener Aircraft, in collaboration with Aéro Montréal and CRIAQ, is pleased to invite you to its next unifying event: an introductory workshop on ecodesign including a privileged networking period with SA²GE partners (Bell, Bombardier, CAE, CMC Electronics, TeraXion and Thales).

On the agenda:

SA²GE-2 Event 2019 Ecodesign Agenda

  • An illustrated demonstration of the end-of-life reality of an aircraft and the impacts of product design on its dismantling;

  • A 45-minute networking break with, among other things, the presence of representatives of SA²GE-1 and SA²GE-2 partners;

  • An introductory workshop on eco-design led by Bombardier's eco-design team, the pioneers in this field in Quebec (marginal presentation on the life cycle analysis method, concrete application of the method presented through a team exercise, debriefing).

By participating in the event you will have the opportunity to:

> Discover how ecodesign creates value and improves product quality;

> Using ecodesign is a driving force for innovation and reducing the ecological footprint of any product;

> Understand how to take into account environmental impacts at the end of the product's life cycle;

> Combine environmental impact reduction and cost reduction through the adoption of ecodesign.
